Welcome to our Frisco, Texas page!

This north Dallas community is booming with population increasing from approximately 1,000 residents in 1914, to 33,714 in 2000, to a current estimate of over 100,000 people.

Frisco is located at the intersection of Highway 121 and the North Dallas Tollroad. The Tollroad splits the town between Collin County on the east, and Denton County on the west. Pioneers in wagon trains originally traveled here on the Shawnee Trail, which became Preston Trail, and is now known as Preston Road. Frisco opened its first post office in 1860 and the St. Louis/San Francisco rail line began construction through the area in 1902, opening Frisco to economic growth.

Frisco enjoys a healthy economy including large retail establishments at the Stonebriar Centre, a new IKEA store, and various boutique centers. Top employers in Frisco include: City of Frisco, Frisco ISD, T-Mobile, Rodman Excavation, Collin County College, Amerisource Bergen, and IKEA.
